Stefani's grip tightened on the paper bag containing Jacob's food as she shot him an intense glare. "Stop being so sarcastic with me."

Jacob remained unfazed, which only served to further irritate Stefani. Determined, she marched over to his desk and forcefully placed the bag down. "Fine, I apologize for bothering you. But you should at least appreciate the fact that I made you breakfast!"

"I never asked you to do that. Next time, don't do things that aren't genuine. I don't want to owe you anything."
