Amby’s POV

Mistress, you say? You were wrong, Summer. How could I be this man’s mistress when I couldn’t even read him? I don’t know what’s going on in his mind. I do not know who he really is underneath the surface.

I peered into his stoic face, attempting to decipher what emotions were stirring within him. Whilst I remained transfixed upon him, I formed one assessment of the situation that had happened. Even though Summer's action was too violent, he remained calm and did not get angry. There was no sign of blame on his face, despite her wife causing why he was rushing me to the emergency room and why Hailey had fallen unconscious now.

As my eyes were closed tight, I heard the door creak open and the sound of glass clink. All it implied was the room being tidied up and cleaned.

When will this drama end? All I hoped was Celine to be out of jail, so why did it come down into this?
