Chapter 50. Past Resentments

Gregory who had been taken by surprise stood frozen as his heart beat nervously. The Alpha wolfblood had never been faced with such situation, which left him at a loss. Besides, Nova's lips were tempting.

Edwina's eyes widened in shock, then her expression constrained into that of heartbreak and betrayal. She watched with a sad expression as Nova hugged Gregory and kissed him. Her gaze wandered to meet Gregory a shocked gaze which was on her. 

Edwina couldn't help but look away in disappointment at him. She had thought that perhaps, he could trust Gregory and give him.her heart but once again, it seems she was wrong. 

Edwina turned around and ran off of the open field.towards her dorm. She managed to hold back the tears that formed in her eyes.

Gregory seeing this, felt a huge string in his chest. He gently pushed Nova off and screamed at her in a furious fit...
