Chapter 67. Again, Who Is the Daddy?

They arrived at precisely 8 pm and wondered if they could still make it to the party. According to Rach, the party will end at exactly 10 pm, so they thought they could still make it.

Meir sleeps for the whole trip to the party. When arriving, Allison immediately wakes Meir, then fixes his hair and shirt; he looks handsome.

Before they enter the venue, Allison flashes her invitation card to the receptionist at the information desk; they let us through without a problem. Still, at the information desk, they can already hear the loud music coming from the party. Allison felt so excited to see Rach simultaneously, feeling nervous about who she might encounter at the party.

Allison took a deep breath.

She starts to talk to herself to calm her down. "There is nothing to get nervous about.", she said.

"Right, Meir?" she said to her son. Meir answered with a look like he had no clue what she was talking about.

While Allison fixes her
