Chapter 70. Feelings Are Finally Mutual

“Hi, you little muffin. I’m Brent,” Brent introduced to Luke.

The kid just stared at him and said, “Wa-ta.”

Brent just frowned in confusion at what his son had said.

As a mother who gave birth and had been with Luke since then, Allison understood what he said. Besides, the kid had been asking her that since earlier. Thus, she walked past Brent and went straight to the kitchen.

“Oh, Allison, good thing you’re here. Go eat dinner with Brent, then feed Luke too; he’ll sleep fast after eating. I’m so exhausted. I’ll go upstairs to take a rest now,” Brenda continuously said as soon as she saw her daughter.

Allison wanted to stop her mom, but Brenda continuously walked and left before the former could even call her.

Now, Allison, Brent, and Luke were the only ones left in the kitchen.

Allison gave Luke the water he had been asking for. As she assisted her child in drinking, Brent was staring at her, which she could sense. He then cleared his throa
