Nathan’s POV

“Emily’s friend? That Tessa?” I asked.

“Yes, her,” Stella replied.

I didn't understand. I needed to process this information. I stood up and was about to leave when Stella called out to me.

“Am I free to go now? You found out what you wanted.” Her voice was sharp and mean again.

“You will stay here until I decide otherwise,” I said coldly and walked out.
