Emily’s POV

I can’t believe it. My mother was in the arms of the judge who sentenced me! Is she cheating on my dad?

“Oh you’ve arrived? What are you waiting for, you idiot? Let them in!” the witch scolded me, staring at me severely.

I excuse myself and let them into the house. My mother still had her hand entwined in Harry’s, the judge. Even though I hated my father, he didn’t deserve this. He did everything for her, so why? Why is she in Harry’s arms? My dad’s best friend?

They all sit down at the table and I serve them, ignoring Melina’s hard stare. I don’t know why that idiot is looking at me like that! She’s still mad at me, that bitch!

When I had finished serving them, I moved away, but not too much. I want to listen to their conversation. They discuss everything and nothing when a phone rings, the person apologizes and leaves the table, I realize it was Leo. When he leaves, I hear Melina talking about my father.

“Richard knows you’re here?”
