Chapter 18

Emily’s POV

It’s been a week since my sister came out of the coma. I am happy and sad at the same time. Happy because she finally woke up but sad because she doesn’t remember me. I remember the way she looked at me when she woke up. She looked at me like I was a stranger. It totally destroyed me.

I hope she will recover her memory very quickly because it hurts me to see her looking at me as if I were a stranger. I’m her fucking sister! I fucking need her! I want to be able to laugh again with her rotten jokes!

As for my parents, they were panicked when they heard that Elisa woke up, but they were quickly relieved when the doctor told them she had lost her memory. I can’t wait for Elisa to remember everything. I want to know what she heard.

As for my house, I had to move in with Andrew for a few days because I didn’t want to be alone in the big villa, without my sister. I miss her!

“How are you, darling?” asked Andrew, looking worried.

“Fine.”
