Elisa’s POV

When Hugo parks in front of John’s restaurant, I get out of the car and he does the same. I enter the restaurant and look for him when a young man, who I think is a waiter, approaches me.

“Hello, can I help you?” he asks me.

Hugo puts his hand around my waist, while smiling at the waiter, then says: “Hey, bro, how are you?”

Little brother? I thought as my eyes widened.

“L-little brother?”

“Yes, little brother,” said Hugo. “Honey, this is Ethan, my little brother, Ethan, this is Elisa, my girlfriend.”

“You’re only introducing me to your brother now?”

Hugo scratches his neck laughing nervously. I hold out my hand to Ethan then say:

“Wonderful, Ethan.”

“Likewise.” He said, shaking my hand.

“I came to see John, is he there?”

“Yes, of course, why?”

“It’s personal.”

He nods and gestures for us to follow him. We head to a private room, and John welcomes us, a smile on his face. He is quite young
