Chapter 56

Emily’s POV

I quickly get ready for dinner with Andrew, since I stayed at my sister’s house to chat without looking at my watch. I put on a red dress that comes to my knees, it’s a dress that Andrew gave me for Valentine’s day. I do my hair and put on light makeup before putting on my pumps.

At the same time, the doorbell rang. I grab my purse and go down the stairs.

I open the door and smile when I see Andrew’s mouth wide open.

“Emily… you look beautiful.”

“You’re not bad too, Andrew.”

I smile as I arrive at my grandfather’s large restaurant. It’s good that Andrew came here, I missed my grandfather so much!

Andrew parks and gets out of the car, before quickly going around to open my door.

“You know, Andrew, I know how to open a door,” I tell him.
