I shook my head and took a long breath. Clyde will never like me. He sees me as a curse. A slave. A sex slave.

I nodded in agreement with what was being said. My reflection only came to an end when I heard Madam Eleanor's voice again. I just noticed that even though ma'am is beyond 50, she still looks young. Obviously, I'm not yet 50. As well as Sir Marcus' wife.

"We're going home, son. Take care, okay?" I heard ma'am say I hurriedly went into the living room to say my goodbyes. I don't want to appear disrespectful to them if I don't say goodbye.
