Chapter 114. Ethan Confronts Maxwell
Ethan paced around restlessly in Maxwell’s office and kept hoping he would just jolt up from sleep and realize he was just having a terrible nightmare, but that never happened. And the more he kept waiting, and the clock on the wall kept ticking, the more he was reminded that he was in reality and things were what they had become.
Once again, he lifted his head and looked at the expensive watch on the wall and wished he could take back the hand of time and undo his actions and the gruesome decisions he had taken in the past that could not be undone and had caused a life and now, another life.
