Chapter 162. A Deserved Gesture
Bethany had woken up earlier than usual, credit to the alarm she had set before going to bed and placing it right above her head so she would not miss it. She got up sleepily from the bed and put the alarm off after she had attempting reaching it by merely stretching her hand it while on the bed, too lazy to get up. Her hand groped clumsily in the air and when she could not get it, had to get up.
She peered towards the other side of the bed where Maxwell was sleeping at the edge of the king sized bed to be sure her alarm had not woken two. He seemed to still be asleep. She had woken up early to make breakfast.
