Chapter 2. New Identity Surfaced
Jane parked her car smoothly in the parking lot and literally jumped out of it but closed the door rather carefully. She would not appreciate a little scratch on its gleam surface. She was in high spirits this morning and would not want to have anything spoil her day, not even the reckless driver who had the effrontery to throw an insult at her like she was the one who almost rammed his car.
Anyway, she let it slide and did not get a hammer to ram on his head as well because she had decided to be at peace with the day. Such a lucky man he was.
She hummed gingerly as she cat walked into Isabella’s home, crossing her hand bag to the left arm.
Ding dong.
She waited at the door for some seconds before Isabella opened it.
“What up girl?” she asked with a bright smile, walking in and leaving Isabella to close the door behind her.
