Chapter 129. A Coincidence

Selena nodded. She knew she could have seen him somewhere. “I remember seeing you on the day of the moon festival. I knew your face was familiar.”

Titus was confused. Is she pulling some sort of prank? He looked at her again. “Selena, are you alright?”

She nodded. “Yeah, I’m fine. Thank you again for the save, if you have time. I could buy you coffee as a proper thank you.”

“No thanks.”

“I will go now.” When she turned to leave, Titus stopped her when he noticed the gemstone around her wrist.

“Where did you get that?” He asked. He thought that he had misplaced it. If anything separates him from his wolf, that gemstone will always bring him back.

“Do you mean this?” Selena specified the gemstone, and Titus nodded. “I don’t remember. I can’t remember buying it either, but it is beautiful right?”

“Yes, it is.”

“I will leave now. My friends will be angry that I’m away for so long.”
