“Me?” Selena gave a snort. “Or you. Which life were you living when you encountered mine? Were you a criminal?”

Estry ignored. “Why would werewolves want you dead, even though that’s what they want? I doubt that they are aware of you just yet.”

“Explain what you mean.”

Estry let out a moan. “You should know a lot about werewolves, but don’t worry, you’ll find out when the time is right.” 

Selena was confused. She hasn’t accepted that she is a werewolf, so Estry wants to tell her about the beginnings of the species. “You are aware. You’re not as bad as you think you are.”

“Oh, I assure you. I am a deadly, evil being. I just wanted to be kind to you because I didn’t want you to hurt yourself. I will also have to die, and I’m not prepared to return.”
