Chapter 35. The Rejected Alpha

"Titus?” Selena called. “What exactly are you doing here?”

“Is he your boyfriend?” Selena was not paying attention to Xavier or even looking at him when he asked. She was watching carefully at the perfectly tall man standing in the middle of them. According to Xavier, he would appear to be older than them.

“How did you notice I was here?” She inquired, but Titus simply looked at her and said nothing. How did he find out? Damn! He would not have come here if it had not been for the bloody bond. 

He was returning from his trip with Uncle Theodore when his chest began to hurt. The only thing that might be causing such pain is Selena. He had wondered why he was in so much pain  in the first place and what she was up to. She had once slept with a total stranger. Perhaps she was attempting it again. He had considered it. He tracked down her scent and informed Uncle Theodore that he needed to get some work done before returning home.
