“Stop saying such nonsense! You are embarrassing me!”
Luke just grinned. “Let’s go. Besides, I was just telling the truth, my Isabelle,” he added then took her elbow.
She didn’t stop him when he led her to his car. She had no desire to see how the witnesses were talking about them for sure.
“Where are you taking me? I have to go home now. I have to run some errands and do house chores!” she told him once they were in the car.
