Chapter 7. Welcome to the Party
Natasha almost vomited at the sight she had to behold. There was the smell of cigarette and alcohol and a host of other things that Natasha was not interested in. She had never drank nor smoked. But amidst all the laughter, roars of party, and music, the world around Natasha became blur and the only thing she could focus on was her sister.
Maeve was wasted. She was riding on a fast train with her head outside of the window, screaming curses at the trees as she headed into a very small tunnel. Eventually, the train would fit into the tunnel, but not her head.
Maeve was dancing, jumping, and laughing boisterously at no joke at all as she swung a large whiskey bottle into her mouth, taking enormous gulps that even for a regular drinker, was considered overdose and too much. How she was able to handle such without any experience in drinking was a mystery to Natasha.
