My eyes flutter open real slow, and the first thing I feel is the cold. It’s dark, the wind’s biting, and for a second, I can’t figure out where the hell I am. I push myself upright and realize I’m sitting on the damn ground, outside, in the middle of the night. What the actual fuck?

The last thing I remember, I was in class, just sitting there listening to the professor ramble on, and then my head started spinning like crazy. My fingers were tapping against the desk, making that stupid noise, and I could feel everyone’s eyes snapping toward me.
