So, Lucas slowly starts driving the car into the pack, and the people standing there just part like the damn Red Sea. The second we pass through, the gate shuts behind us with this loud-ass BOOM that nearly makes me jump out of my skin. I glance ahead and realize the only thing lighting up the road are fucking torches and these old-ass lanterns hanging from wooden poles. No streetlights. No modern anything. It’s giving medieval fantasy with a side of creepy.
Lucas, eyes still on the road. “So where exactly are we going?”
