As I drew closer to where they were Jake was sitting beside my lawyer, Mr. Johnson.
Jake felt extremely sorry for me and sought to help but he could not.
"This is the best I can do for you, Chris!" I pulled him to a warm embrace. "Thank you!" I muttered.
My lawyer, Mr. Johnson a young man, middle aged, looked at me with a encouraging smile.
"Chris, please, tell me everything. Anything that might help your case." He begged.
I shrugged, with my eyes cast downward.
"I don't know what to say, Mr. Johnson. I'm just as confused as everyone else. I didn't do anything wrong, but I don't have any evidence to prove it." I said.

"Okay, Chris. Let's start with something small then. Can you tell me about your relationship with Jake?"
