Chapter 26. New Evidence

Ellie’s POV

Case after case. Hearing after hearing, works seems to be the only thing I have indulged myself in recently.

I feel as if it is the only way I can abstain from chaotic thoughts, it has been working however but I believe it’s only temporary as someday I’ll have to face them.

Today like the past few weeks of my life started with me waking up and doing my routine.

Teeth, clothes shoes stuff like that, and then I brace the day with a fruit or snack before heading out.

I usually do not take coffee until I reach the office but I can squeeze in today.

So I made a quick stop at a fast food restaurant to get some coffee and a small snack.

It was quite refreshing and good to know I’m not just some workaholic who does nothing apart from work.

After that, I proceeded to the office and got to work. I started with the one I left the previous day and made all the adjustments.
