Chapter 31. The Right Thing

Ellie’s POV

The day I dreaded the most finally came. It was the day of the first court hearing about the lawsuit between EC Creations and ANS Inc.

I woke up a lot earlier that day and got ready on time since I could not afford to waste any time.

Normally before I go to court for any case hearing, I always feel confident and less nervous but this was different.

I was confident I had enough evidence that turn the entire case in our favor and also confident in the hard work the legal team and I had put into this case.

But the fact that I would be going head to head with the company I formerly represented and James’ family made me more nervous, the thought of it alone made me sick in the belly.

I took a deep breath and walked out of the room and headed to the sitting room where Aria was.

“And here comes the star of the day,” Aria said as soon as she saw me. I smiled nervously as I walked up to her and she held me in a warm embrace.
