“Not this again,” I thought to myself as James made his way to us.

“How the hell did he know where we were?” I asked Aria.

“I guess information travels fast,” she replied.

Running into James was unexpected, but certainly, I wasn’t surprised. And from experience, he wasn’t going to let this go.

Especially not after the preliminary didn’t come out in his favor.

I was about to move away from the place but Aria held me back.

“You did nothing wrong and should not be afraid of anything.” She spoke with so much confidence in her.

“I know I haven’t been doing anything wrong. I just want to prevent any further drama so please let us leave while we still have the chance.” I suggested, but from the look she had on her face, that wasn’t going to happen.

I could only conclude that this could end badly as Aria wasn’t adhering to my words.
