Chapter 37. Making Things Happen
James’ POV
I left the bar as quickly as I got in, I would have stayed a little longer but I noticed that security creeping in and I didn’t want any misunderstandings.
I got into my car and the fact that the case is proceeding beyond the preliminary hearing bothers me.
I was angry and frustrated, leading me to hit the horn repeatedly, making a loud honking noise.
At this point, my options are running low and I must think strategically.
I inevitably calmed down and drove off, and in no time I arrived at the hotel where my dad and our lawyer were. I met them there arguing about something.
“What the fuck happened?” I yelled as soon as I arrived expressing my frustration with the results.
