“With all due respect, sir, I don’t think you are in a position to give orders here.” I started, knowing fully that I was in control of this situation.

“I’m not giving orders here, I’m only here to negotiate,” he replied.

“Ohh, now you want to negotiate; what happened to me being incompetent, huh?” I asked a rhetorical question.

“Those days are over and I was wrong okay so hear me out now and let’s come to a common ground,” he replied making me pay a little more attention.
