Chapter 84. I Don’t Want You To Blame Yourself

Ellie’s POV

After a busy day at work, I was glad that I could finally unwind in the comfort of my house.

I made something light for dinner since I was eating alone, and Aria wasn’t coming back home that night.

She had made plans with her boyfriend so I guess I will have to spend the night alone. “What a disloyal friend,” I said to myself and smiled.

I picked up the TV remote and decided to watch something since I was bored. As soon as I put on the television, it was set on a news channel. I did not enjoy listening to the news, so the first thought that came to mind was to change the channel.

But before I could, there was news of a car accident that happened last night, and the victim looked rather familiar. I paused and took a good look at the picture, and it was James.

“Oh my God, what in the hell happened?” I screamed as I listened to the news. According to the eyewitnesses who rescued and took him to the hospital; he was unconscious when
