Evelyn’s POV

Staying here for the past three days made me feel some way. Although the crying had significantly reduced I just couldn’t help feeling that I should have done better.

Right now all I can do is watch and hope for the best, the doctors are saying that he is responding to the medications and might wake up soon.

My fingers are still crossed, though; I only pray that the good lord saves the love of my life for me so that we can live together.

I held his hand and kissed it; while holding it, I stared at him. he looked to be doing well physically as some of the bandages had been removed, and his breathing was significantly getting better.

“It’s only a matter of time, he would surely wake up.” The nurse said and patted me on the back, “You think so?” I asked, hoping if there was anything I could do to accelerate it.

“I know so,” she replied.
