What a Rude Stranger

Amaya waited for Rohit to reply her but all she heard on the phone was the sound of his breath.

"Hello" Amaya said again.

Hoping to get a response but all she got was a complete silence from Rohit. She heard the name Aunt Vedika called him then she thought she would call him by his name-maybe then he would respond to her.

"Rohit" Amaya called him. She hoped he would answer her since she had called his name.

"Who are you?" Rohit asked her.

Amaya thought to herself what right Rohit had to ask her that. She became agitated at his question. She looked at  Vedika- then she thought she would respond for Vedika's sake.

"I'm Aunt Vedika's niece" Amaya replied him.

She eagerly waited for his response but he was quite.

"Hello" Amaya yelled at Rohit.

Why is he suddenly quite again? She kept thinking. 'He must be rude, how nonchalant of him'
