Chapter 23. Jump out Of This Car

Wren POV

Three Days Later.

“Ezra please,” I beg, bottom lip jutting out in a pout.

He raises a brow. “You’re begging. This is serious.”

“It is. Come on, she’ll land soon.”

“I thought Ray disapproved of this little visitation?”

I roll my eyes. “Ray can suck it. She’s only here for a couple of days. Besides, I need to talk with normal people, have normal conversations.”

“So what, I’m not normal? Lizzy isn’t normal?”

My eyes rake down his body. “You’re definitely not normal, Ezra. You’re absolutely crazy. Look,” I sigh. “Are you going to take me to the airport, or should I order a ride?”

He grabs his phone, typing away and then clicks it shut.

“Alright, let’s go.”

I grin. “Really?”

His lips twitch, and he nods.

We step out of his room, Ezra behind me and we make our way towards his car at the garage.
