Amber’s POV
“Dale, what’s wrong with you?” I asked him because he acted differently. He seemed to be a different person from the Dale I used to interact with each day. “Wait, are you h**h on d***s?”
“W-what? D***s? I don’t do d***s, Amber,” he replied with a lot of conviction in his voice.
“Then, what’s wrong with you? Look, I have known you for a long time, and you are not like this, Dale. Tell me who did this to you,” I asked while referring to the bruises on his jaw. “Let’s go inside for now. I will treat your wounds,” I told him, and he just nodded his head in agreement.
