"It is unfair. Everyone else has four or three people in the car, but I am stuck with only him. Everyone else has a driver, but not me! Our murder machine must be driven by the fucking king! Speaking of the killing machine, it is moving far too quickly. I cannot open my eyes to look at the road. I am positive that he is doing this on purpose," I complain, my frustration evident in my tone.
"Put on your seatbelt," he instructs, his voice cutting through the tension. I don't let him see it, but just hearing his voice again gives me chills. I miss him. Of course, I fucking miss him. I tried to appear like nothing was ailing me all day, but I was dying. I despise him for doing this.
"What exactly is a seatbelt?" I retort, determined not to let him know how much his presence affects me.
"You would see it if you opened your eyes."
"Not happening."
