His grey eyes light up, and he grins. "I'm not," he says, his voice tinged with amusement.
"Alright. Okay. Maybe I will tell him. But don't you think my timing is insane? I just told him I needed space; I can't go up to him and tell this now," I explain, frustration evident in my tone.
He shakes his head knowingly. "It's never the right time to talk about something like that. If you wait, you'll never say it because there simply is no right time," he advises sagely.
"You're really wise, Lewis. Seriously, it's a gift," I compliment him sincerely.
"My wife calls it a curse," he remarks with a wry smile, revealing a hint of his personal life.
"I bet she has her reasons," I acknowledge empathetically.
He chuckles softly. "She probably did," he admits with a nostalgic tone.
