From the corner of my eye, I see Lexcis step out as well. Adelin was in the car behind him and she also stepped out.

They waited for me to step out first.

Something in me holds me back from going to him. I messed up by acting this way. I know he'll understand, and that makes it even worse. Because I'm not sorry for the way I acted. But I probably should be.

I sigh and begin to walk to him. What shocks me is that he doesn't wait. He saw me walking towards him but he continued to step inside the castle instead.
