I snuggle with Arcane as I have for the past hour or so. Time passes and I'm pretty sure it's now been at least three hours since Lexcis left.

I fall asleep, only to wake up to Eli throwing a blanket over me. I give him a weak thank you and continue dozing off.

Another hour or so later, I get up. I should probably visit Morana, see how she's doing.

"Knock knock," I smirk behind the door.

"Instead of saying that you could actually knock. You know... Like any normal person would do?"

"But I'm not a normal person," I go on, sticking my head inside.

"Idiot." She chuckles. "Come in."

"Oh god," I instantly feel like crying when I see the tiny baby in her arms. Madam Eira told me I did a great job earlier and I have never felt prouder of myself. "Ray, she's beautiful. Are you sure she's yours?"
