My girl leans her head into my chest and I too let out a breath of relief. Madam Eira makes her way to us and seems proud when she sees how we're trying to help Chantel.

"Good. Very good. You're essentially doing what this belt will do." She explains. She takes the belt and Khalid slowly lowers her bump and Madam Eira replaces his hands with the belt. She wraps it around her back too and then pulls Chantel to sit upright.

"How does that feel, dear?"

"So much better," my love chuckles. "Can I wear this underneath my clothes?"

"Yes, honey. You should go do that, I set up some tea and a few pills for you downstairs. Drink up and maybe rest a while, okay?"

Chantel nods, thanking Madam Eira again. "How did you know what to do?" I inquire of Khalid while brushing my hand over Chantel's arm in a soothing way.

"I've dealt with pregnant women befor
