Chapter 118. Strength of a Woman
Hunter’s POV
Archer nearly got killed if it weren’t for Tamer instantly summoning her snake to grab Archer and pull her out of the way.
The claw attack still managed to cut her across the side, but it wasn’t life-threatening.
“Ugh, thanks for the save,” Archer said, gritting her teeth.
“That beast… She’s tougher than I thought, but at least I know Panther did damage.” Tamer pointed to the missing arm of Spinnet.
Despite her healing factor, healing an entire limb wasn’t something a faux Lycan could do; the best it did was close up the wound and prevent further bleeding. “You two are really troublesome. If not for my quick substitution web, I’d have died,” she spat out some blood. “Well, at least I got one.”
Archer’s left arm then felt numb, and she knelt down holding her injury. “Of course, she had poison in her freaking claws. She’s a spider after all,” Archer said, feeling stupid.
