Chapter 63. Stopped in Our Tracks
Adonis’s POV
As if my dream of certain death wasn’t bad enough, Kiana had escaped. The windows around her had been broken through, and I knew exactly who did it.
“Chara!” I ran around the village in my wolf form, screaming.
Chara had soon become Kiana’s most trusted aide in the pack. Like Vance and I, Kiana and Chara had a bond, not a good bond at all, though.
Kiana was a demanding woman, while Chara was one who enjoyed being looked down on and insulted. She enjoyed people making fun of her so much that she’d get wet sometimes in public. I hated her so much because of her ability.
Her inner wolf, Chameleon, gave her the ability to blend into any background and move like dust in the wind. Despite her troublesome personality, I kept her here so as to not let her abilities fall into the wrong hands.
But now, this truly was the worst situation to ever happen.
