Chapter 34. Fucked Up

Nathan’s POV

Oh God, I’d fucked things up again. Totally messed it all up, and this time, there was no way to fix it.

That wasn’t my intention. I swear, it wasn’t. But what the hell was I supposed to say to her?

“Evelyn, I saw Victor. He’s here.” The words never made it out. Instead, I kissed her.

The moment I spotted Victor passing by with some Omegas, my brain scrambled for a way to keep her from seeing him.

So I did the first thing that came to mind—I grabbed her and kissed her like my life depended on it.
