Evelyn’s POV

I sat across from Isabella, my eyes were focused on her as I tried to understand what exactly she was implying and where this conversation was headed.

I didn’t even understand her expression, she almost looked expressionless.

“If you’re thinking I stole him from you, I—” I began, but she cut me off with a laugh.
