Chapter 106. Forgotten

Skye's POV

The sun ray filtered into my eyes and I stirred in my sleep. I opened my eyes and sat up. There was something missing inside of me. I felt it. I tried to recall something, anything but I couldn't. All I recalled last was walking down the streets in thoughts of Father, mother and Nat.

I let out a groan as I felt a sharp pain in my head. I struggled to get off the bed which I did and headed to the bathroom.

After a few minutes shower, I headed down the stairs. I remembered I had an appointment with the Sheriff. I walked down the stairs and saw Robin coming up. "Just the man I wanted to see. The Sheriff complained about some hounds in town, we're to apprehend them." I said.

Robin stared at me like I've grown two horns. "The Sheriff?" He asked me dumbly.

"Yes, Robin. You told me that yesterday," I said to him with a raised brow.

"Oh," he said in realization. "He told me this morning you shouldn't worry. The hounds have been apprehended,"
