Chapter 18. An Encounter
Fernandez and I were partners again on the the training field as we clashed our swords against each other. "You're not getting any better," I chided.
"Days without training with her royal majesty must have had it effects on me," he responded with a smirk on his face as he turned around thrusting his sword forward to my chest.
I moved aside dodging the blade of his sword. "It turns out, you're only perfect when you're with me." I said smugly.
He turned around swiftly to kick me and I evaded it. "You're right about that." he replied, smiling.
