Chapter 66. Impending Danger

Ava’s POV

I was perplexed and anxious.

"Anna, what does it have to do with him? Is he the reason why?" I asked, a sudden fear gripping me.

"He's a demon and he is not going to change. I see a fierce battle between you both. My queen, it is your destiny to slay him." She said instead.

"No," I replied, trying not to break down.

"It has been written in your destiny, you can't change fate." She said.

"Is there no other way?" I asked her and she shook her head. 

"Besides, haven't you noticed that you are..." She began but was suddenly disrupted by the presence of Camila.

"Beta Phil is here to see you." Camila directed to me.

"Urgent?" I asked her.

"Yes." She said nodding.

"Anna, I'll get back to you," I said to her and she nodded. I walked away.

Anna's POV

"Are you okay?" Camila asked me. 

I nodded. "I'm fine," I said, walking back to the pack house. 

Camila followed beside me. "You d
