Chapter 65. Heated Arguments

He returned and all I got was dagger glares from him. The argument was about to begin.

"Did you hear that? Do you want to put the lives of others at risk for your own selfish gain, tell me, do you?" He demanded. His eyes blazing with anger.

"You what?!" He yelled at me. Skye never yells at me and this side of him frightened me.

"How did he even get in here in the first place?" He asked no one in particular as he raised his hands up in exasperation. "Anna! Anna!" He yelled repeatedly for her and the poor girl rushed down the stairs in fear.

"You set up a barrier in this territory. How did the demon king get past through it?" He demanded ignoring her curtsey.

"He got passed?" She asked in shock.
