Chapter 86. Love Me Like I Do

Everything seemed to be normal between the both of us as the days roll by. Standing at the balcony window, I watch Skye speaking outside with a pack member. He looked roguishly handsome in his breeches and a white shirt unbuttoned to his chest.

I gazed at him and a smile tugged at the corners of my lips. 

My doltish, arrogant, possessive husband, and yet he was...handsome. I agreed to myself without a grudge this time around.

I sighed as I placed both hands on the window pane, devouring him with my eyes. He had an indeed incredible physique. Lean and yet masculine. Just as if he read my thoughts, he looked up towards the window and gave a smile.

I quickly left the window and held my chest as my heart raced. Did he see me staring at him? I wondered. 

I heaved and took deep breaths. I looked back at the window but he was no longer there. Where was he? I wondered as I craned my neck around to find out where he was.
