Chapter 94. Healing

Skye's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Walter hovering over me. His image was blurry and I could hear voices too. From the sunlight in the room, I believed it was morning already. Walter's image became clearer. "You're awake, alpha Skye." He said and all I did was grunt.

I heard the door opening. "Here it is." I heard Ava's voice.

"He's awake," Walter said as he took something from Ava's hands.

She rushed to my side and held my hand. "You're finally awake. You had me worried." She sighed in anxiety. My heart fluttered at her words. Was she finally developing feelings for me?

"Believe me, love, I'm not leaving you anytime soon," I said and tried to sit up.

"Take it easy, alpha," Walter said as I lifted my arm and grimaced. A bandage was wrapped around my arm.

"He's very lucky the arrow didn't pierce in too deep," Walter said to Robin.

"He'd be fine, right?" Robin asked and Walter nodded.
