The hardened glare he shot at me was like a knife piercing my soul.
"That's because Skye swore on his mother's grave that he'd avenge her death and you turn out to be the daughter of the murderer. Skye never goes back on his word," Natasha said without me asking her."Oh, shut up, you bloody bitch and I did not swear on avenging my mother's death, right?" I asked her in annoyance.
"You better watch it or.." Natasha began to warn me.
"Enough!" Skye's voice thundered through the hall and a cold shiver went down my spine. I turned to look at him and all I saw was nothing but detest in his eyes.
