Chapter 99. Dethroned

I walked down the stairs the next morning and the first person I laid eyes on was Fernandez. "Good morning. I sure believe you had a blissful night." He said with a smile.

"What are you doing here, Fernandez?" I questioned him.

"What was discussed yesterday. I'm here for an answer." He said.

"And I repeat, over my dead body." I stood my ground and he made a serious face.

"Look here, I'm not here to banter words with you. Step down or else.." He threatened.

"Or else what, Fernandez?" I demanded, getting pissed.

"You'd find out soon." He said as he walked towards the exit of the pack house. 

How dare he come in here to threaten me? I fumed as he left. 

"Daniel!" I called out and he came rushing through the door after I called him two more times.

"Yes, alpha." He said in respect.

"Gather the pack's warriors. I want to have a few words with them." I said and he nodded and hurried off.
