Chapter 54

Claire’s POV

Mom arrived after my conversation with Cole, I excused myself and told Mom I’ll go home, thank goodness her driver arrives so she won’t let Cole drive me home.

As I entered the car, I saw the white dress that I bought earlier. I put it on my lap and stared at it. It’s really happening, I’m going to marry Luke and I don’t know what to feel exactly.

It didn’t take long for Luke to arrive in my house as well, as soon as he got inside, he sat in front of me to talk about something.

“I wanted to tell you about our set up after the wedding,” he said, and I nodded, waiting for him to talk again.

“Okay,” I said.

“I wanted you to stay with me at my house,” he finally said.

“Is it necessary?” I gulped.

“Of course, Claire. We’re married and we’re not going to stay on the same roof? What will people think if they find out, right? So, maybe you could start packing your things so you can move before our wedding,” he said.
